The heart behind the lounge

Clinical knowledge.
A caring presence.

Care shouldn’t end after discharge from your birthing facility. The Life Lounge Perinatal Group brings a maternal–newborn nursing perspective to the deeply personal experience of growing a family, offering continued care, education, and support as you settle into life at home.

Founded by Melange Scott, a registered nurse with 20 years bedside experience, certified in maternal–newborn nursing and perinatal mental health. The Life Lounge is rooted in a simple belief: when moms are healthy—both physically and mentally—they are better equipped to nurture healthy babies.

Wellness begins with support.

Our philosophy
A little clarity

Questions are welcome.

What is perinatal concierge support?

It is a personalized approach to education, guidance, and support around pregnancy, postpartum, and newborn care. The focus is on your family’s questions and needs. Specific service arrangements are discussed directly with The Life Lounge.

Can I explore support before my baby arrives?

Yes. Preparing for the postpartum period can begin during pregnancy. Consider what you want to learn, who will be in your support circle, and what would help you feel more prepared for life with your baby.

Does this replace my obstetric or pediatric care?

No. Perinatal education and support complement your care team. Continue your scheduled visits and discuss medical symptoms or treatment needs with your obstetric, pediatric, or mental health provider.

How do I learn about availability and pricing?

Visit our booking page to explore scheduling. For questions about services, format, fees, or availability, email Hello@LLPG.org or call 410.734.5002.
